Description

This is an aftermarket kit which can be used to restore your vintage Nautilus. While vintage parts do vary in size and shape, we have made this kit as true to original as possible by designing it based on OEM new-old-stock components. While we guarantee the quality and accuracy of these parts, we cannot guarantee fitment. Your watchmaker may need to adjust the parts to accommodate your vintage parts, as they have been affected by time.

You may choose between finished parts and unfinished parts. If your watchmaker is doing restoration work on your case components, unfinished is recommended. They will come with a fine machine finish, along with media blasting where required. Finished parts will come brushed and polished to OEM specifications.

Please note that for water resistance, you will need to try a few different crystals and gaskets. This is the case with genuine parts as well. It is recommended to use your original crystal and gasket to ensure a tight fit. Moreover, due to age and the nature of vintage watches, we cannot guarantee water resistance of our parts used in conjunction with vintage parts.

We can also accurately recreate the stamping on your parts to better match the original feel. To avoid fraud, this is only offered when proof of ownership, as well as material provenance usually in the form of an Extract from the Archives is provided. Stamped parts will have three small dots also stamped in an inconspicuous area so that these parts cannot be resold fraudulently.

Please note that these kits are designed for restoration purposes, and any fraudulent behaviour will not be supported. While entirely possible to do, these kits are not intended to be used as their own standalone wristwatch using existing vintage parts from multiple wristwatch sources.

These parts are made to order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for “unfinished” parts, and 12-16 weeks for “finished” parts.
