Our hilts are professionally chemically weathered in house by our customization artisan. After the weathering passes two quality control checks, it is sealed with a UV resistant, non-yellowing clear coat to preserve the finish.
We source genuine cowhide leather wraps from saber-specific vendors, such as Defconbird, to support our community economy. Once applied using two specialty adhesives, the leather is treated and conditioned using all-natural products. This hydrates the leather, ensuring its quality and bringing forth vivid colors.
We don't cheap out on our supplies. All of our covertech apparatus is made of the material it's meant to look like. Brass is brass, copper is copper. No anodizing or powder coating to get the look at a lower cost.
Our D-rings and Tri-rings are made of steel, which allows for a vibrant heat-stain effect to match with weathered hilts.
